OSINBAJO GRASSROOTS ORGANISATION

OSINBAJO GRASSROOTS ORGANISATION (OGO) is a voluntary organization initiated by young spirited Nigerians who believe in the personality of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as a beacon of hope and ideal leader in Nigeria. As the name suggests, OGO is a grassroots movement, established to drive a political campaign where people are organically organized as the basis for supporting Vice President Osinbajo for President. As an organization of volunteers, grassroots mobilizers and ordinary Nigerians from all walk of life, ethnicity and gender, we rely on collective action and an array of strategies to position Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as a man who is naturally and intellectually capable to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari, come 2023.

VISION STATEMENT:

To inform and inspire people at the grassroots across the country through words of mouth, house to house campaign and relevant communication channels about how Vice President Yemi Osinbajo can deepen the transformative agenda of the All Progressives Congress by improving economic, security of life and properties.

MISSION STATEMENT:

To deepen political awareness at the grassroots as well as taking our message about Osinbajo to all the nooks and crannies of Nigeria by playing up his unique selling points and commitment to the Unity of Nigeria.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF OGO

*To champion Osinbajo’s Presidential campaign and take his message to the grassroots

*To ignite a door to door campaign about the teachings, activities and thoughts of Prof. Osinbajo

* To reposition the APC as a viable political vehicle in 2023

*To register presence in all the electoral wards across the federation

*To encourage Nigerian youths to be organized politically to determine the Nigerian of their dream

*To create an affinity between the name Osinbajo and an average person on the street in a way that everybody will be emotionally attached to the brand

*To support and advance the cause of democracy as a set of sacred principles and values by churning violence, money politics, bribery, ethnic and religious divisive politics.

* To create a new breed of competent and patriotic leaders.

* To mobilize active political participation of Nigerians in party politics

* To leverage the strength of our young people with the view to increase their patriotism and commitment towards project Nigeria.

* To promote, encourage and foster unity among citizens both at home and abroad particularly the younger generation.
